Securing planning permission can be extremely difficult, particularly given the fluctuating nature of legislation. 

PP&D is regulated by the RTPI and have an expert knowledge of regulations and can therefore play a vital role in obtaining permission for projects with complex needs. 

Even if you have a knack for understanding intricate rules, securing permission is not just about the technicalities of an application. You will also need to know how to navigate the politics of planning - obligations, charges, officers, committees and appeals. PP&D are experts on the entire process and can draw on a wealth of experience.

All types of planning application will be undertaken, and we will be able to advise which application is the most suitable for your site. 

We have experience using a little used application called Permission in Principle, which, on sites which may be difficult to secure the principle of development, such as Green Belt sites, this lessons the costs to the applicant if permission is refused, against a more traditional outline application. 

We offer a wide range of services and can help collate and submit all relevant planning submissions including planning applications, listed building consents, planning and enforcement appeals and lawful development certificates.

We can also provide general advice on feasibility and also provide specialist reports such as Planning Statements, Design and Access Statements and Heritage Statements.

Initial discussions are always held to find out the clients aims and requirements, then the work is geared to achieving those aims.
